COMMUNITY EVENTS + CARE

Therapy is powerful, but deep healing rarely happens alone.

That’s why Good Practice Therapy offers Community Care Events: workshops, Q&As, and experiential gatherings that are therapeutic in nature but are not therapy. These events create space for connection, learning, and mutual support.

Most Community Care Events are free or offered on a sliding scale and are open to everyone—whether you’re currently working with one of our clinicians or not. Join us to build connection, practice self-care, and find community.

LIVING ROOM PILATES

Did you know that exercise is one of the best medicines we can give ourselves FOR OUR MENTAL HEALTH?

But for many of us, it can feel really intimidating and hard to move the body - maybe you’ve been judged in gym class for running the mile too slowly, or showed up to a gym only to walk right out with all the mirrors, gym bros, and intimidating machines.

Mat Pilates has been an effective way to move the body, create strength, center one’s self, and build a mind-body connection for years.

That’s why Caitlin leads this beginner class every Sunday in-person at the Skeleton Dojo Social Club in Buffalo. Come for the Pilates, stay for the killer playlists and good vibes.
