Why this group?
Exercise is one of the best things we can do for our physical and mental health.
We can do it on the cheap (or free!), and even a little bit of regular movement can have big impacts. But estimates of 31% or more of adults worldwide don’t get enough exercise.
WHY IS THAT?
We believe that many of us are taught to think about exercise in a completely unhelpful way.
That exercise is for weight loss and weight loss only
That only people who look a certain way can show up to the gym
That if you don’t GO HARD then it’s not even worth it
That if you have any pain or chronic issues then exercise isn’t for you
THESE BELIEFS ARE NOT TRUE.

Founder
With a vision for building something meaningful, our founder brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience. They set the tone for everything we do.
Caitlin Steitzer, MSW
Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Beginner Pilates Instructor, and Mental Health professional.The founder and owner of Good Practice Therapy, Caitlin believes that health is holistic and can be pursued at any body size. A social worker with lived experience as an indoor-kid-turned-exercise-enthusiast, Caitlin knows firsthand how much movement can help with mental health improving overall quality of life - regardless of what you look like!
